Academy Screenings at the Goldwyn Theatre

The Academy celebrates the film career of Oscar-winning actress Sophia Loren during a gala evening that includes an onstage conversation with the legendary star.

An onstage conversation with experimental filmmaker and optical effects artist Pat O'Neill, followed by the premiere of a newly preserved print of his first 35mm feature, "Water and Power" (1989).

Four Mondays, 7 to 10 p.m.: April 25, May 2, May 9, May 16 at the Linwood Dunn Theater

Top production designers and set decorators present a four-part Academy seminar series, with film clips and Q&A with the audience.

Monday, April 25 at 7 p.m. at the Academy Theater at Lighthouse International, New York City

Renowned sound mixers Chris Newman and Tom Fleischman come together to present an evening of film clips demonstrating how raw tracks become the finished soundtrack.

An exhibition of original paintings and final one-sheet posters showcasing the colorful, complex work of artist and designer Bob Peak, who has been hailed as "the father of the modern Hollywood movie poster."
