FEMALE OR TRANSGENDER/NON-GENDER PEOPLE OF COLOR NEEDED AS FILM MENTORS

Looking for experienced female or transgender/non-gender identified filmmakers to mentor youth this fall!

imMEDIAte Justice is a unique opportunity to train the next generation of young filmmakers. imMEDIAte Justice empowers young women

from LA to share their experience of reproductive justice through film.

With film mentors like you, young women write and direct films that

offer a fresh take on sexual health education.

The program weaves together peer-to-peer sexual education, mentorship, and media literacy to help young women become ambassadors of health and change in their communities. Each 7-week imMEDIAte Justice program focuses on a different aspect of reproductive justice. In this fall's program participants will create stop motion animation public service announcements using the lens of gender identity and sexual orientation.

We are offering paid mentorship positions for filmmakers with expertise in:

  • Final Cut Pro Editing
  • Sony HDZ and Cannon D40 cameras
  • Lighting (especially using a green screen)
