Seeking producer's assistant/intern to start immediately. We are currently in post-production on a Sundance Labs feature film, negotiating distribution/sales for an award-winning feature film that has played at festivals including Los Angeles, Woodstock, Rome, London, Sao Paolo, and Ft. Lauderdale, and in pre-production for a short film with a director whose previous works have played at Sundance, Seattle, Hong Kong, and more. Minimal photocopying/filing/runs; assistant will be expected to step up to responsibilities such as liaising with vendors, reviewing contracts, being on set for production of the short late-february. This will be a hands-on internship with valuable exposure working directly with a producer in all stages of production/development. 10-20hrs/wk commitment, starting ASAP for current semester, with possibility to extend. 2010 Ivy Film Festival - Final Submission Deadlines

It's almost time for the 2010 Ivy Film Festival and we hope that you are eager to submit. The prizes, speakers and featured films promise to make this year's festival one of the best yet. This year's festival will be held on April 14th to 18th at Brown University in Providence, RI.

We would like to remind the students at Occidental College to submit to the festival before the late February 15th deadline and the final February 22nd deadline.

Additionally, in response to the economic situation, we are offering fee waivers in submission fees for those in need.
