Posting Job Description: Please Note: Internships are UNPAID and structured to last approximately 12 weeks. Course Credit is available. Resume, Cover Letter and a College Reference is required. Students should have a strong academic record (3.0 strongly preferred) and good character. Students must have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship. In addition, students may not have graduated college or graduate school prior to the start of the internship (i.e. students must still be enrolled in school during the time of the internship). Students seeking college credit are strongly encouraged to apply. Note to International Students: All international students will be required to provide documentation of proper visa paperwork prior to your arrival if accepted to the program. Only J1 or F1 visas will be accepted. Due to the high volume of candidates for Turner's Internship Program, interested students are encouraged to apply for openings as soon as possible, as these positions will be filled on an ongoing basis. Future semester Internship postings will be available after the current semester deadline.

Qualifications: in order to facilitate the learning experience, the following qualifications are preferred: Should be able to commit to 12 weeks of the internship and be able to work 15-20 hours per week and eligible to earn academic credit in the form of units. (Students will be asked for proof of the credit prior to the start of the internship). Candidate should be seeking a career in Communications, Television/File, or related field. Should be self-motivated, ability to work in a team environment and multi-task, have a good attitude, and be able to function well in an environment with short deadlines and quick turnaround projects. Student should also have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Internship Description: This internship is based with the Kids Content Development department located in Burbank, CA. The student will be interacting with the following areas: Original Series, Comedy, Live Action, Action Adventure, and Alternative. Student will be participating in creative meetings, reading materials, and will be exposed to projects that will provide insight into the development of programming as well as be able to network with executives. By exposing the interns to procedures within the development department, interns will gain invaluable knowledge and experiences. In addition, students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with development and industry tools in the work place.
