MUSE young directors night

In March, MUSE is putting on a film screening called Young Directors Night at the LACMA. We screen 7-10 short films and end the evening by giving the Art of Film award to the best
in show. There is no entry fee and the film would be exposed to some great
artistic minds!

Submissions currently being accepted

Muse, LACMA’s membership program for young artists and art enthusiasts, presents their eighth annual Young Directors Night (YDN) coming up in March 2009 (exact date tba). YDN is a celebration of film, showcasing seven to ten shorts by up-and-coming directors in Los Angeles. The evening features a competition for the Art of Film award, to be determined by a host committee- a panel of four luminaries- along with the audience. The award will be given to the best in show.

This event brings together directors, artists, industry figures, LACMA members, and friends to enjoy the films of emerging filmmakers. Consistently selling out LACMA’s 600-seat Bing Theater, the program is dedicated to giving young directors exposure, networking opportunities, and a creative audience. With a mission to elevate the experience of supporting the arts, Muse creates behind the scenes programs like the Young Director’s Night, offering its members a dynamic balance of social, educational and philanthropic activities.

If you are interested in submitting your film to Muse’s Young Directors Night please be sure your film meets the following requirements.

-No longer than 30 minutes
